An e-commerce platform wanted to create a new checkout process where the user would not have to go to a cart page first, but could complete their entire order on the checkout page. Working with other designers on our team, we updated the cart and checkout flow of existing e-commerce templates to be more streamlined and modern.
Version 2: 1/3
This version had the screen split into thirds, with more room for the product descriptions. We preferred this one as it allowed the user to scroll through the product side without it affecting the information side and minimized the amount of excess white space. This version still needed some tweaks such as update buttons to help users complete their order on this screen rather than having a separate cart page.
