I was approached by Alyxandra to design a Squarespace website for her Baltimore based event planning company that would be easy for her to update and would allow customers to see previous weddings she had planned.
I helped create the layout and general branding of the website based on the content Alyxandra provided me with and then taught her how to update each section.
simple homepage design
I created a simple homepage design that requires minimal scrolling and acts as a jumping-off-point from which clients can navigate to the area they are most interested in.
As an event coordinator, it is important to showcase any awards you have won to show clients you can be trusted on their big day. I added badges for everything Satin & Sage had been featured in to the footer so clients are constantly reminded of how trustworthy Satin & Sage is.

I added parallax scrolling with full-width banners to split up the text and keep people interested in scrolling down through the different services Satin & Sage offers.
